Hon. Dr. Henrietta Okoro
Hon. Dr. Okoro is the Founder/President Emeritus of the Association of Nigerian Women Academic Doctors (ANWAD)., Inc. She is an alumnus of Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge Massachusetts, USA, where she completed Executive Education in Leadership & Decision Making. She has a dual masters degree in Accounting and Management from Southeastern University, Washington DC and Doctor of Management from University of Phoenix with specialization in Information Systems and Technology. She is a published author and has presented several peer reviewed articles in the fields of management, leadership, and information technology.

Dr. Okoro is a Commissioner in the State of Maryland under Governor’s Commission on African Affairs. She also leads the quality control and assurance division in a Telecommunication Company in the United States. With over 25 years of professional experience in the fields of information technology, accounting, management, and leadership, she serves as an Adjunct Professor and teaches graduate level courses in several universities in the United States. Dr. Okoro is an executive director in Aequilibria Ind. Res Nig. Ltd., an Oil & Gas Services Company and Managing Director in Cytta Group LLC, a global management consultancy company. She is a member of the global leadership conference organizing committee, session chair, peer review board member, technical adviser Journal of ANWAD, and senior editor International Journal of Leadership Education and Business Studies (IJLEBS). She is a certified software test engineer (CSTE); a senior member with Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), and American Society for Quality (ASQ). Dr. Adaeze P. Momah
Dr. Momah is the President of the Association of Nigerian Women Academic Doctors (ANWAD), Inc.., Inc. She obtained her Doctor of Social Science degree from Bristol University, United Kingdom. Masters degree in International Development Studies from Bradford University. She has Agricultural Economics and Cooperative Economics and Management background from University of Nigeria Nsukka and Institute of Management and Technology Enugu respectively. She is the author of a book titled ‘Youth Poverty Reduction in Nigeria: Policy Perspective’. She is married with children and works for Central Bank of Nigeria. Dr. Grace Opigo
Dr. Opigo is the Vice President of ANWAD, Inc. She is a K-12 educator at a Public School in the State of Georgia, USA. She completed her Doctor of Education degree at Walden University, her master’s degree at Central Michigan University, and her undergraduate degrees at Georgia State University and Assumption College, all in the United States of America. Her research topic was on a Study of Antisocial Student Organizations in a Nigerian University. For almost two decades, however, she has focused on implementing proven research methods to teach student with Special Needs. Her future research efforts will focus on the implementation of these research methods to educate all students, with or without special needs, to bridge the gap between students in the public and private sectors. Dr. Grace Opigo is currently collaborating actively with colleagues in Education who share the same research interests to compile a Handbook on Teaching and Learning in disadvantaged communities around the world. Dr. Grace Opigo’s immediate goal is to work with universities and government agencies as a consulting Professor, visiting Professor or an Adjunct or full Professor at a University or College. ABD Callista Okoro
Callista Okoro is the Financial Secretary of ANWAD, Inc. She is an EdD Doctoral Candidate at Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas, USA. Her area of specialization is in Educational Leadership with Superintendency. Callista has taught public schools for about fifteen years and she is currently a K-12 public educator in the state of Maryland, USA where she passionately teaches English for Speakers of Other Languages, and serves as Departmental Chairperson. Callista obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She also holds double Master’s degrees in Communication and Language Arts from University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and in Educational Administration from University of North Texas in Denton. She is presently working on her dissertation with research topic on Perception of School Administrators in Identification of Students with Learning Disabilities in Eastern Nigerian School System. Callista’s experiences include school administration and leadership while serving as both principal and superintendent interns; acquiring experiences in public school governance. Callista plans to advance to full administration while working on school proprietorship to serve students with learning disabilities as a long term goal. Dr. Ndidiamaka N. Amutah-Onukagha
Dr. Amutah-Onukagha is the Deputy Financial Secretary of ANWAD, Inc. She received her PhD in Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health at the University of Maryland, College Park School of Public Health in 2010. She received her Masters in Public Health from The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services in Maternal and Child Health in 2005. Her dissertation focused on infant mortality in Washington, DC and it specifically examined neighborhood level disadvantage, social determinants of health, and race/ethnicity as predictors of infant mortality. Dr. Amutah also received a BS in Public Health and BA in Africana Studies from Rutgers, The State University of NJ.

Originally from Trenton NJ, Ndidi has a long standing commitment to public health that spans over 10 years of Public Health experience. Her current research interests include health disparities, reproductive health, infant mortality and HIV/AIDS in ethnic minority populations. Ndidi is a member of the American Public Health Association and is currently a councilor in the Maternal and Child Health section. Additionally, Ndidi holds membership on the Board of Trustees for The Women’s Collective, is an active member of Delta Omega, Omega chapter public health honor society, and is the Immediate Past-President of The Society of African American Public Health Issues (SAAPHI)

Ndidi also holds membership in the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE), the International Society for Urban Health (ISUH), Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America, and the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Research. Dr. Amutah is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She has taught courses on Program Planning and Evaluation, Research Methods, Adolescent Health, and Minority Women’s Health. Dr. Amutah has worked as a researcher in community-based research settings in a variety of areas including maternal and child health, health disparities, and HIV/AIDS. She has published and presented both domestically and internationally in the area of HIV/AIDS and infant mortality in urban communities.

Formerly, Dr. Amutah completed the Kellogg Community Health Scholar post-doctoral fellowship at Morgan State University. Her research study titled DRUMMing Up Data: A Maternal and Child Health Community Based Participatory Research focused on examining the family planning practices, beliefs, and aptitude for women ages 18-45 in Baltimore City. Currently, Dr. Amutah is an Assistant Professor at Montclair State University in the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences. In this capacity her research focuses on adverse birth outcomes for women of color, HIV/AIDS and women of color in an urban context, and community based participatory research. Dr. Chinenye Vio Udeze (JP)
Dr. Udeze is the Treasurer of ANWAD, Inc. She is a Reader /Chief Lecturer with a 23 years’ work experience at the Department of Linguistics / Nigerian Languages, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri. Imo State. She was a one-time Deputy Dean of Students Affairs and the Immediate Past Head of Department of Linguistics/ Nigerian Languages. chukwurah
Dr. Nneka Chukwurah
Dr. Chukwurah is the PRO of ANWAD, Inc. She works with the Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja, Nigeria. She obtained her Masters degree in Malaria Parasitology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical, Medicine, London. Her PhD on “Aspects of Malaria Prevention among Pregnant Women” was obtained from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She has obtained various trainings both nationally and internationally. Such trainings include: Malaria control and its control; TBHIV collaborative activities; Tb Infection Control; Influencing, Networking and Partnership training in Chicago, USA. Dr. Chukwurah headed the Malaria Training School in Lagos, Nigeria where she trained Medical Officers, Students from School of Health Technology and other Health professionals on Malaria and its control. She has also delivered lectures on Malaria and its control at different times during World Malaria Day Celebrations.

Dr. Chukwurah has been involved in various malaria researches including community based studies on the use of Insecticide Treated Nets in the control of malaria. These studies were carried out in schools and communities. Other studies involved the use of Sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine in the prevention of malaria in pregnancy; KAP studies on malaria including the knowledge on malaria preventive measures in communities. She has presented papers at both International and National conferences and have published some papers on malaria and has also published papers. Presently Dr. Chukwurah is a Deputy Director in the Department of Public Health, Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja, Nigeria. She heads the TBHIV Unit in the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme. She trains Health personnel in TBHIV Collaboration and the establishment of Infection Control in Hospitals that have both TB and HIV units. She is involved in programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation. She has participated as an Internal Consultant in the Mid-term evaluation of the National TB Strategic Plan. Dr. Chukwurah has over 25 years’ experience in Public Health. She is a Parasitology Society of Nigeria, member of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, London and member of Malaria Society of Nigeria. Dr. Adejoke Shyein
Dr. Adejoke Olabisi Sheyin is the Welfare Director of Association of Nigerian Women Academic Doctors (ANWAD). She is a vivid example of excellence in attitude, inner personal traits and achievements. She obtained her Doctorate Degree, (Ph.D) in Educational Management at the University of Ibadan. Dr. Sheyin is currently a Chief lecturer and the Director, Part Time Programme (DICCEP) at Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu-Ijebu. She has been on sabbatical leave at and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye and she served there, as a visiting lecturer; and did also at Adekunle Ajasin University and TASCE Nigerian Army Part-Time Education Corp, where she taught Masters and Ph. D classes.

As an outstanding scholar, Joke, belongs to several learned societies- The Vice President, National Association for Educational Planning and Administration, (NAEAP); Research Fellow, International Research and Development Institute, (IRDI); Secretary, National Association of Educationists for National Development, (NAEND); Member, Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration, (CCEA); Member, Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education , (AACE); and Member, Nigerian Authors Association, (NAA). Dr. Joke Sheyin is a recipient of Academic Awards and Distinctions, including, Illustrious Daughter of Ago-Iwoye Award, 2013, African Role Model Award for Excellence, (2010); African Choice 2008 Meritorious Service Award for Professionals of Repute; Overall Best Students’ Prize, (1969) at L.C.C. School; and Award for the Best Student in History (1975), at Ago-Iwoye Secondary School. She has travelled all over the globe, contributing to knowledge, especially in the field of research.

At the community level, Dr. Adejoke Sheyin, has contributed immensely to the development of Ago-Iwoye, her hometown and Itebu-Manuwa, her husband’s; she is the First Vice President, AgoIwoye Development Council, (ACDC) and the Iya Ijo of St. Paul’s Church, Itebu-Manuwa; her wealth of experience was brought to bear on several projects embarked upon by the two communities; She is a Secretary to many social clubs. She has published widely and has proved her competence in research; not only as Chief Lecturer at Tai Solarin College of Education, Omu, but also as a Senior Lecturer at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, where she was Deputy Director of Degree Programs, 2000-2005. Her Administrative experiences include headship of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Management Studies (2008-2011), Chairman Committee of Best Teachers in Ogun State (2006-2008) and Chairman of editorial Boards of several academic Journals. Her international exposure is wide had attended conferences in many States in the United State of America, United Kingdom and in India, under the sponsorship of Tertiary Education Trust Fund. HON. LADY DR. NGOZI AGATHA ETOLUE, FCIA is the Program Director of ANWAD, Inc.
• Hails from Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
• Born to the family of Late Sir Alphonsus Ejikeme and Lady Regina Amuchenu Onwusowulu (KSJI).
• Undertook her secondary education at the renowned Queens School Enugu. Proceeded to the University of Benin, Nigeria where she obtained a B.Ed Degree in English. Further, proceeded to the Prestigious University of Lagos where she obtained Masters and Doctorate degrees in Guidance & Counseling between 1993 and 2004.
• She was formally with the Lagos State Civil Service Commission where she rose to Directorate Level
• An Accredited Management Trainer, She has served as a Resource Person to many Institutions and Organizations
• A seasoned Educationist, Dr Ngozi Etolue was a Lecturer as well as the Academic Coordinator of a reputable Pre-Degree College in Lagos.
• She was a former Coordinator and Academic Manager of the Northern Consortium of Universities in the United Kingdom(NCUK) and the International Foundation year Programe (IFY).

Hon. Justice Dr. Latifat Folami
Hon. Justice (Mrs.) Latifat Folami (nee Kabiawu) is the Legal Adviser of ANWAD, Inc. She was born on the 26th day of October 1967, she was called to the Nigerian Bar on16th Dec. 1992 upon qualifying as a barrister and solicitor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with a second class (upper division) degree from the Nigerian Law School. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology (1987), a degree in law (LL.B, 1991) and a postgraduate degree in Law (LL.M, 1999) all from the University of Lagos and recently completed her Doctorate degree in Leadership and Organizational Management (November 2013) from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

She worked briefly as a banker between 1992 and 1994 and thereafter practiced in various law firms in Lagos State before her appointment as a Magistrate in October 1996. She was elected Chairman of the Magistrates Association on Nigeria (Lagos State branch) in 2004, she held this position until April 2006, later the same year she was elected National President Magistrates’ Association on 1st December 2006, a position she held up to May 2009.

Justice Folami had a career on the lower bench of the Lagos State Judiciary spanning a period of over 13 years. She rose through the ranks from Magistrate Grade I to Chief Magistrate Grade I. She was also the Chief Registrar of the Lagos State Judiciary between March 2008 and September 2010. Justice Folami is the recipient of several merit awards. In her leisure time, Mrs Folami enjoys swimming, jogging and horticulture. A member of Ikoyi Club 1938.
